The key idea
Anthropic’s report examines usage patterns and experience. Our interpretation: evaluate learning through repeated, task-specific practice.

Our method
Give a team a stable task, explicit review criteria and several supervised attempts. Record how correction effort and output quality change. Keep a baseline and ask participants to explain both useful patterns and situations where the tool fails.
How to assess progress
Platform observations are not a causal estimate of your return on investment. Avoid applying population-level findings as promised team outcomes. Read the study’s methodology and limitations before drawing wider conclusions.
Decision
Investigate what the linked research actually measures and which part, if any, informs your team's training question. Distinguish observations about platform usage from evidence that practice improves a particular marketing task. Write the local hypothesis before using the report to justify a training programme or productivity target.
Exercise
Ask a small team to complete a stable assignment across several practice sessions using approved inputs and the same review criteria. Keep an initial unaided example and reserve comparable fresh assignments for later checks. Record usable quality, correction effort, help requested and the participant's explanation of failures. Note other changes that could influence progress, including clearer briefs or reviewer coaching.
Deliverable
Deliver a learning log and a training revision plan identifying skills to practise next: briefing, source verification, revision or escalation. Summarise the study's relevant scope and limitations only after checking its methodology. Present local observations separately, with sample size and conditions, so readers can see what the exercise supports.
Pitfall
Repeating the same assignment can measure familiarity with that example rather than transferable skill. Include a new but comparable task before concluding that learning carries over. Self-reported confidence is useful feedback, but it should not substitute for observed quality and independent review.
