The key idea
AI increases the number of proposals. Strategy means deciding what you want to learn: which problem, promise or proof matters to a defined audience. Start with a few genuinely distinct alternatives.

The starting point
- Offer, audience, defensible benefit and approved product evidence
- Channel, format, destination page and conversion goal
- Brand rules, publishing constraints and a test budget to approve
1. Clarify the commercial brief
Write the customer problem, solution, evidence and expected action. Distinguish features from benefits. AI cannot invent missing proof. Resolve an unclear offer before generating twenty headlines.
2. Build an angle matrix
Ask GPT or Claude for distinct approaches: simplifying work, addressing a frustration or demonstrating a documented benefit. For each, prepare a message, visual and objection. Remove alternatives that only change a few words.
3. Produce creative components
Evaluate GPT Image or Firefly for compositions. Prepare dimensions and text areas for the actual channel. Check product fidelity, rights and details. Keep final logos and text editable where that improves consistency.
4. Design an interpretable test
Make the destination page repeat the ad’s promise. Keep one central hypothesis per comparison and define the metric, observation period and stopping conditions. Conversion volume and quality matter alongside click cost.
A practical example
Here are the offer, audience and authorised evidence. Propose three genuinely different advertising angles. For each: customer tension, defensible promise, evidence, headline, short copy, visual concept, objection and test hypothesis. Flag unsupported claims. Invent no urgency, reviews or discounts. Finish with a test matrix changing one main variable at a time.
| Angle | Hypothesis | Element to compare |
|---|---|---|
| Simplicity | The process seems complicated | Usage demonstration |
| Time | The task takes too much effort | Workflow illustration |
| Trust | The audience doubts the result | Verifiable product evidence |
How to assess progress
- An attractive image does not replace a clear value proposition.
- Keep the advertisement, offer and destination consistent.
- Launching distribution and committing budget require a separate decision.
