The key idea
AEO and GEO describe efforts to make information useful in generated answers. The practical foundation remains accessible pages, clear answers, evidence and trustworthy site structure.

Our method
Choose questions close to an actual buying decision. Answer them directly, explain scope and connect supporting guides. Keep important information visible in text and ensure structured data matches the page. Use a coherent entity description across the site.
How to assess progress
Observe indexing, qualified traffic and actual mentions over time. Google says its AI features do not require special AI markup. No schema, keyword formula or text file can force inclusion.
Decision
Choose a buyer question your organisation can answer with evidence that is useful beyond a generic definition. A strong candidate compares options, explains a constraint or makes a process understandable. Determine the original contribution before selecting a label such as AEO or GEO for the work.
Exercise
Select five questions from actual sales or support conversations and map each to its best existing page. Ask a colleague unfamiliar with the page to locate the answer, its evidence and the next step. Rewrite one page so the answer appears clearly, then add the qualifications and supporting detail needed for a sound decision.
Deliverable
Deliver a question-to-page map with audience, decision, concise answer, proof, limitation and related destination. Add an editorial change log and a dated observation plan for search discovery, relevant mentions and visits. Use this record to compare the same questions over time without claiming control over generated answers.
Pitfall
Do not manufacture dozens of near-identical question pages. If several questions lead to the same decision and evidence, combine them into a useful resource. Readability and factual substance should improve for a human visitor even if an answer engine never cites the page.

Google Search CentralChoose a useful next step
Understand how AI search finds sources, review your pages, then separate visibility observations from visits and enquiries. Use those findings to choose what to improve in your editorial workflow—not as a promise of citations.
