The key idea
Adobe Firefly is a generative creative offering. Useful adoption requires a clear visual brief and a review of the asset’s intended use and applicable terms.

Our method
Specify subject, composition, brand palette and exclusions. Generate concepts, select for message fit and inspect details at the intended display size. Keep source assets and editing history, and check rights and claims before publication.
How to assess progress
Confirm the current product terms for the selected feature and account. Measure useful concepts and revision effort, not just image count. Do not present generated scenes as real client evidence.
Decision
Decide whether the creative task is exploring a visual direction or producing an asset ready for a defined placement. These require different acceptance criteria. For a concept, judge message and composition; for delivery, also inspect product fidelity, dimensions, legibility and the elements that must remain editable.
Exercise
Write one visual brief with an authorised product reference, palette, intended message and exclusions. Develop three compositions that place the product differently, then adapt the chosen direction to two required aspect ratios using the features available in your account. Inspect the outputs at their actual display sizes and mark any altered product detail or unusable text area.
Deliverable
Deliver a contact sheet with the brief, selected concepts, rejection reasons and required edits. Provide a production specification showing product placement, editable headline area, logo location and crop boundaries. Preserve prompts and authorised references so a designer can continue the work without reconstructing the intended composition.
Pitfall
An attractive full-size image may fail when cropped into a narrow placement. Test the actual formats before selecting a concept. Generated packaging, lettering or product features need particular scrutiny; visual plausibility does not establish fidelity to the item being advertised.
